We recently purchased our first home with Realtor Ragu. The experience we had with him from start to finish was A+ service. We spent several months looking for the right realtor and Ragus name popped up several times when chatting with individuals who had home purchase/selling experiences. We quickly gave him a call and booked a one on one with him due to time restraint. It started off with a subscription to email listings in the area we were interested in and market reports created by Ragu. If you do know what this is or your current realtor does not have market reports, I highly suggest reaching out to Ragu to subscribe and see what it looks like. Ragus strength was market knowledge and these reports can attest to that. He knew Oshawa inside out and had answers for every question me and my husband pitched at him. We booked our first showing with him and he was prepared to be honest over prepared. We both were left speechless at the end of the showings as we came out like expert buyers. He was on time and had tonnes of information as we viewed each house. One thing that caught our attention was he never rushed any showings or cut corners to sell any homes to us. After the first showing we didn't like any of the houses so we patiently worked with Ragu on seeing more homes in the neighbourhood we wanted. Finally me and my husband fell in love with a house we could envision our life in. We told Ragu this is it, lets make an offer. He told us slow down, he would do some homework/comps and advice us accordingly. Ragu came back and informed us that we wouldn't be too happy with this purchase as it didn't fit our future plans. He engaged in many pros and cons and constructively created a road map as to why this particular house was not something ideal for us. Even though we envisioned our life in it, Ragu knew how personal it was now and came out with courage to inform us that it wasn't an ideal purchase. How many realtors do that? I know at the end of the day commission is the end game but here it was more catered towards “customer satisfaction”. Ragu presented us with another house which we viewed and made us envision our life there. He told us why and made it crystal clear this was the house for us. Ragu booked a few more showings at both homes and finally we realized what Ragu meant and made an offer on the house Ragu envisioned for us based off our conversations and needs. Ragu encouraged us to make an offer we were happy with and thats exactly what we did. We ended up paying a little more than expected but every dollar was worth it. We love our home and its been two months and every time someone comes over theres something positive or intriguing they see which strikes a conversation about the home which secretly makes our hearts warm as proud home owners. Our friends/family ask us what made us buy the home and our response simply is “Realtor Ragu”. Hes not just your average Joe, he’s your seasoned realtor professional. We used Ragu to sell our condo in Toronto and to purchase a house in Bowmanville. Before choosing a real estate agent, we conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. We spoke with Ragu and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many condos sold in our neighbourbood, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our condo, which was located north of the city and in a neighborhood with hundreds of similar condos would be tough to sell. Ragu made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like giving us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, scheduling multiple open houses and a lot more.

We got an offer and accepted - Ragu walked us through every step of the closing process. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. He was extremely responsive and very pro-active on communicating with us, from the sale of our condo to the purchase of our house. We had some difficult moments in both aspects (selling and buying) that I'm not sure any other realtor would have had the patience to deal with us on these issues and walk us through them as methodical and calm as he did. We weren't entirely sure what the process would entail and how much work it would take, but Ragu was VERY informative and you could tell right off the bat that he knew his career and had our best interests in mind.
